What we've shipped recently.

  1. October 29, 2026

    • norc is almost ready for everyone. Signups are closed while we finish launch preparations and open soon at vault.norc.app.
    • The web vault, the macOS and Linux desktop apps (0.3.0) and the norc CLI are ready for launch. The iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
    • Free covers two machines. Paid plans are listed on the pricing page.

  2. October 27, 2026

    • Shared environment variables: store a value once, bind it to jobs by name, and every machine running those jobs receives it. Manage them from the Environment page in the vault and desktop app, from Profile on mobile, or with the norc env commands.
    • Archiving or deleting a variable lists the jobs and machines that would break first. A job whose variable is archived or missing now fails instead of running without it.

  3. August 2, 2026

    • Desktop now recovers automatically from a corrupted local database instead of getting stuck, and no longer attempts to sync while a machine is unpaired.
    • The desktop app now matches the look of the web vault and mobile apps.

  4. August 1, 2026

    • Fixed duplicate sync warnings. Deleting a job on one machine now removes its history on every machine.

  5. Late July 2026

    • The iOS and Android apps are built and heading to internal testing.
    • You can now pick OpenAI as your AI provider for plain-English scheduling.
    • Desktop: open a job in a side drawer to review or change it without leaving the list.
    • One wordmark and brand across desktop, mobile and the vault.

  6. Mid July 2026

    • Added optional TOTP two-factor authentication for account sign-in.
    • Launched the public status page at norc.app/status.
    • Checkout and the billing portal now open in a new tab, so you keep your place in the app.

  7. Late June 2026

    • Added annual billing, with two months free on every paid plan, to pricing and checkout.
